I would be very curious to know who those people are and how there got here? Is it is the sort of site they would like to be a part of, as either a contributor or a reader? If they were searching for something specific, did they find what they were looking for? Would they visit the site again?
Since this is a relatively new site that hopefully will evolve, I would love to get feedback from some of you people out there. Perhaps some of you who are reading this blog would like to give me some of your impressions, either in the Comments section below or in a note to email@example.com. Tell me who you are (writer, book lover, someone interested in a particular subject…), what you were, looking for (if you were), what you think of the site, whether you would visit it again, and perhaps, offer some suggestions for changes or improvements.
Of course, if you write or love books, it would be great if you could be a contributor – that is, send me a poem, short story, essay or book review, either occasionally or on a regular basis, and/or constructive feedback on material submitted by others. If you're unsure whether a piece you've written is "good enough," I'll be happy to look it over and offer editing advice. And if you're just there to view the material that's been posted, that's fine, too.
If you'd like to receive periodic updates for The Writer's Drawer, please let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also get updates by clicking on the RSS feed – the button beside the Facebook icon at the top of each page.
I look forward to hearing from you.
